Seems a company from Thailand named Equitech have created something that filters out oil and fat from wastewater 99% effectively.  Targeted mainly at hotels and restaurants who use a lot of cooking oil.  And I think they're even pushing on creating fuel out of the filtered oil.  They're on Facebook.

The fat shouldnt be getting down their in the first place if kitchen staff are operating strict fat scraping procedures.

We install grease traps and an enzyme system in our larger premises to prevent blockages.
