Noticed them starting the install the other Day, poped back to see it they were finished and took pic.

The project manager said they were 230W panels, that were made onsite but didn't have much more info.
They were using unistrut with zebs and shaped brackets to mount.
There after 4MW installed capacity!!?

there have a few units along the industrial estate, even a solar car charging port.
I recon the fronts face SE

They are a glass manufacturer for solar panels so that is a smart marketing move, as well as eco-friendly.

At first I thought it was silly to use vertical panels, but I expect they are thinking about promoting solar panels/glass as a building material. Long term there is a certain logic about covering every square inch of a building that captures sun with solar panels...so hats off to them for setting an example.

cheers

Hmm    a bid unimaginative ... for my taste  and   their flat roof would have generated  ca 200-250 kwh per installed kw more per annum .......

Anyhow   a bit of  Landscaping would help as well  Grin even only a monoculture idea  Grin

Billi,
That's another cool bit of editing, what program do you use? i've always wanted to learn, but wouldn't know where to start.

chicken photoshop ( a light version of course  police came with my scanner software )     and its about the only i can use (didnot try others )

It seems complex and a lot to learn  , but learning is  playing, if you like what you are doing .

After 10 years  it seems i still only utilize it to 50 %  Tongue
