Stiii no news regarding FITS. Was just talking to Barbey Merrett of Good Energy and he is awaiting several hundred applications. As far as I know no one has been processed yet.

curiously I had exactly the same letter today! I scanned my original form  to PDF and emailed in April so was able to resend again. I suspect they are very short staffed...

or will we get double ? Grin i think not some how

I did put a copy of there email to me in the email i sent back with the PDF

"This is an automated response.

Thank you for emailing RO2FIT@Ofgem.gov.uk. This email account is dedicated to generators that have a current or pending RO accreditation and are interested in receiving support under the Feed In Tariff (FIT) scheme that came into force on 1 April 2010. We will not respond to general queries in respect of other RO, CCL or REGO related queries and these should be directed to renewable@ofgem.gov.uk.

For those generators that have emailed their RO to FIT notification/Additional Information forms to this address, please keep this email as a confirmation that we have received your notification.  We will contact you if we require any further information in respect of your query or request to be considered under the FITs scheme.

Please note we have a very large number of applications to migrate and this is anticipated to take a number of months therefore the supplier will be informed when a generating station has been migrated, and in turn will then notify the generating station.

I had a letter from Good Energy late last week. They wanted me to fill in the FIT forms & the Ofgem forms. I already have an Ofgem accreditation number & had filled in the Goodenergy Home gen form that they said would cover the FITS but they changed that so I have to do it again. The good news for me is I still get the FITS from the first day as I am an existing customer.

Well things are still progressing.

Had a letter just before Christmas asking for my first metre reading. As the deadline was so close & with the weather & xmas mail I emailed it to them. Had a phone call today to question the opening & first readings. Turns out that someone in putted my first reading wrong to the tune of 6600kWh by missing out the first two digits.

So with luck the first cheque will be in the post soon.

First payment hit the bank today  extrahappy extrahappy extrahappy

Not a huge amount as we only have 1.2kWp & its baddly sited.

But it will cover our genny fuel for when the PV is not covering it all so we have a cash free electric supply & should have some fuel/cash to go towards running the tractor & digger for the wood supply.

Here too, yesterday.  extrahappy

And today someone called to fit our export meter.

Well, actually they've taken away our existing (digital) import meter and replaced it with a single multi-rate meter, but at least I can now quantify the export amount and work out what we are actually using (i.e. usage = import + generation - export).  Smiley

I'm awaiting some sunshine to see how the LED(s) on the new meter behave in export mode (I'd been using a 'blink' sensor to monitor import on the old single purpose meter).
