How about this one

Question Reference: QG200

Does the generating station use electricity generated by the generating station for a purpose directly related to the operation of the generating station? *

Huh?
thats a fair question, example could be associated pumps, cooling fans, even the grid tie inverter! but I put no in the interests of simplicity, and the tiny amount we are generating anyway

You can get free PDF makers.

The one I use works like a printer.
You can get it HERE

You print to the virtual printer & it makes it in to a PDF.

Question Reference: QF700

Does the generating station meter the renewable electricity generated on-site for a purpose not relating to the operation of the generating station?

Any thoughts?Huh

I put Yes and then put in the meter ID of my import meter (having already put in the ID of my total generation meter in the earlier Q).

You had to put on the diagram all the meters at your site and I have two.  A total generation meter for my off grid solar output which is consumed entirely on site and an import meter for grid power consumed by other loads at the site.  Although, re-reading the Q it says about metering the "renewable electricity" and my import meter just measures grid power used for a purpose unrelated to the generating station... Dang... maybe a mistake....

Does anyone fancy compiling a set of instructions which we can fix as a 'sticky' at the top of the page?

This is what I put so far, however I did apply for RO and REGO just in case, but I think it should just be the RO, hope it comes out in the wash. Thanks to everyone for their help.

QA100 Name of generating station.      Name of your choice
QA200 Commissioning date of generating station? (dd/mm/yyyy) 03/07/2009
QA300 What is the total installed generating capacity at the generating station (kW)? 1.62
QA400 What is the declared net capacity (dnc) at the generating station (kW)? 1.62
QB100 In which country is the generating station located? England
QB201 Address Line 1: Your Address
QB202 Address Line 2:
QB203 Address Line 3:
QB204 Town/City:
QB205 County:
QB206 Postcode: Your Postcode
QB300 Ordnance survey (OS) grid reference or its equivalent, must be 2 letters and 6 digits. SK123456
QC100 Does the operator wish to apply under the Renewables Obligation Order? Yes
QC110 Under which Renewable Obligation Order does the generator wish to apply? RO - Renewables Obligation (England and Wales)
QC20 How do you wish to claim ROCs? Annually
QC210 Technology used at the generating station under the RO: Photovoltaic
QC400 Does the operator wish to apply for the Climate Change Levy exemption for renewables scheme? No
QC600 Does the operator wish to apply for the REGO scheme? Yes
QC700 Technology used at the generating station under the REGO scheme: Photovoltaic
QD10 Please give the make and model of your generating equipment (e.g. Any turbines, PV panels, incinerator, etc.) Sharp NU180
QF10 Do you use any of the electricity that you are generating in your own property or on-site? Yes
QF11 Please state the purpose of this on-site use, e.g. domestic heating and lighting. All Domestic appliances
QF20 Does the generating station export ALL of the electricity generated to "the grid" i.e. no generation is used in your own property or on site? No
QF30 Does the generating station export electricity to a third party, but not through "the grid" i.e. export through a licence exempt distribution network?

(NOTE: An example of this may be where you generate renewable electricity and then export it through a "private wire" arrangement to a small business or housing estate. The electricity is not going onto "the grid" but instead is being supplied direct to a third party.) No
QF300 Does the generating station wish to claim REGOs on the gross renewable electricity produced? Yes
QF400 Does the generating station meter the gross renewable electricity produced? Yes
QF410 How many meters are installed to measure gross renewable output? 1
QF412 Make : Elster
QF413 Type/Model : Import/Export A100C
QF414 Serial Number : 08123456
QF415 Does the metering conform to any metering standards and if so which?
QF416 What is the accuracy level of the metering?
QF700 Does the generating station meter the renewable electricity generated on-site for a purpose not relating to the operation of the generating station? No
QG100 Does your generating station import electricity from the transmission and licensed distribution network (i.e. "the Grid") and use it for a purpose directly related to the operation of your generating station, for example vane control systems or a priming pump? No
QG200 Does the generating station use electricity generated by the generating station for a purpose directly related to the operation of the generating station? No
QG300 Does the generating station have a fossil fuel auxiliary or standby generator? No
QI100 Please provide a comprehensive electrical schematic or single line drawing of the generating station. This must include the following:

(i) All generating equipment and associated auxiliary loads
(ii) Other electrical loads not associated with the generating station
(iii) Any standby generation and associated interlocking or switching facilities with the generating station
(iv) All import and export connections
(v) Location and details of all electrical metering including meter type (make and model) and meter ID numbers.

I have all the "notify me" options set but I still found today that I needed to "sign" a declaration that I have not been informed of.

To be sure I have been logging in every day so that I dont loose out on a technicality.

Good job I am.

I've now cast my lot with the devil so let's see what they make of my motley setup.  whistlie
Interesting to see they are now being more specific about what kind of circuit diagram they want - I had to update mine before I sent it in to make sure I covered the detail of all areas.
I wondered if QI100(ii) wanted a full diagram of the rest of the house, but I decided against that.
I just show the consumer unit and presume they are sensible enough to guess what I have connected to it, other than my SSEG.
Sometimes I think they are just fishing to see if you've got anything dodgy connected.  police

Well, I guess yes, but the second question they ask you after "What do you want to name the system" is "What date did you commission the system on".
Tricky to answer that truthfully and still get it all done before 31st March.  whistlie

Good Luck.

Dave.

it's for a CHP system, about 30kw total, so won't qualify for FITs anyway Sad
