hi. i,ve recently insulated and floor boarded our previously concrete ground floors. but i fear that in doing so i have stopped any heat from the ground rising and in doing so cooled our house rather than warming it as planned. i think i have done this because after thinking about the temps involved i have found that the ground is often warmer than the air in our house. could i be correct? any feedback greatly appreciated, thanks peter.

Ground temperature 10-12C maximum, Room temperature 16C minimum? Room will always be warmer than ground.

If you've measured a warmer ground temperature, it's because it's been heated in some way by your house or household services.
