Have only just come across this forum and I have an information source I found some time ago that will help you. Unfortunately you do not describe your target audience but Renewable Energy UK www.reuk.co.uk have some simple to understand information guides on the subject. I will leave you to adjust the content to your needs. Regards and good reading.

Many thanks and welcome to the Forum. My target audience is semi technical but mainly interested in the practical aspects of technology. The site you have posted is a commercial site with some interesting information which may prove useful.

ive listened to lots of seminars and even though some technical terms are easy enough to understand, I find that using layman's terms whenever possible very helpful!  I hope that you post a vid of your lecture here!
