This 24W energy saving floodlight with R7s lamps provides excellent energy efficient power usage. Power consumption is 90% lower than an equivalent 300W halogen lamp. The PIR sensor switches on floodlight when motion is detected within the field of the sensor. The PIR sensor detection field is 160° by 10m and can be rotated for accurate field adjustment. It has an adjustable time setting for floodlight from 5 sec to 7 min and adjustable light sensitivity for night only operation.

You are able to install a standard 500W halogen lamp (max) if required.

Waterproof IP44 rating for outside use.

ross electrical ( newlec and eyre) sell replacement cfl lamps for 150 and 500 watt halogen floodlight fittings,so you dont need to replace the whole fitting top  get a saving.

Not sure how much they cost.

bought them on tinernetweb fleabay a while ago. not the best. carp ligh in the cold winter, seem to ignore the light sensor - ie works in daylight + night.
