I've loved Tim Hunkin's work since time immemorial, he epitomises the english eccentric that can actually get kids who stare in ill repose at their gameboy / psp (whatever) into a lively sparkling eyed kid again, a visit to the southwold pier is much recommended, I used to frequent the covent garden show when living down there & take a regular footfall of visitors of all nations who were gobsmacked at the lunacy as part of my London tour.

His main site is here, very extensive,

i'd visit more museums & hospitals etc if i knew his stuff was in there!

The above link is just a snippet, his site is worth an evenings watching & reading + you-tube content, anyone on here is pretty much likely to have found & been mesmerised by his clocks & displays, (for those of you way up north Eleanor et al, think the clock in inverness shopping centre x10 in eccentricity & you're there)
Why he has not been given a title yet is beyond me, he keeps alive a certain British trait with aplomb.

Hi,
Like his work.
When I taught technology his 'secret life of machines' videos were much used.
If you haven't seen them they might be on utube.
