Sorry, the Dewdney smokescreen cannot conceal the fact that it is entirely reasonable to berate a monopoly for misusing/abusing it's power, and to take unilateral action to express ones' discontent, and encourage others to do so........ - the great shame is that we, the consumers, have enormous power, but seldom wield it.... Roll Eyes
Business is indeed business, but if it hadn't been reined in, little boys would still be going up chimneys, and the slave trade would still be in full swing........ (well OK they're still slaves, but at least it's in their own countries these days, beholden to Monsanto, Syngenta and other US-based multinationals.........) whistlie
Multinationals are undeniably "at the bottom of" many of the world's wrongs, (particularly in the exploitation of labour and the environment) so I tend to "start at the other end", and regard them with deep suspicion as to their likely morals until proven otherwise/wrong........ I can't remember when that premise proved faulty........... ralph
