Hi All,

Anybody know what the differences are between a German Sunny Boy 2500 and a UK Sunny Boy 2500 (built 2010)?

Thanks

the instructions are written in German?

I'm pretty sure there's no difference, although you probably want to double check that it is a G83 compliant model. the UK inverters are mostly made in germany anyway as I understand it.

Thanks Gavin.

Looked at the German instructions, and it appears that there are no differences, even the display language can be altered with internal switches.

The manual also confirms that it is G83.

If the inverter is STILL configured for the German market, then its internal configuration is NOT G83. However, it may have been reconfigured to UK configuration before or after being imported to the UK.

There are 2 levels of password within the inverter which allows the configuration to be changed. If you do not have the highest level password, you cannot change the configuration.

I hope this helps.
