Hi Henry,

The solar panel tubes are quite fragile for shipping purposes, and we have found only one way to ship them successfully. This centres around the fact that couriers are very much less than careful with their shipments - and will throw or drop parcels at any given opportunity. We therefore make up wooden crates carefully fitted to the dimensions of the solar tube boxes, which provides protection in shipping, and makes the whole unit too heavy to be man-handled, hence forklift or pallet truck. This seems to work well, but unfortunately, as each order is different, and as we sub-contract the crate manufacture, we have to have these made up as and when customers place orders, so there is generally a 5-7day lead time for crate production. The bank holiday has added obvious delay to the shipment, but we anticpate shipping out your order around Wednesday this week.
Of course, we do not take payment from your credit card until the goods are actually packed up and waiting for collection from the courier, so you can be sure that we have not yet debited your card.
