Hi,

Now I've finished installation a Nav 20 with 172 litre tank (it's working far better than my  expectations) my thoughts are turning to a PV system.

I want to connect to the grid as it eliminates the need for batteries and regulators and dump loads etc.  But I will require a smart inverter.   I've found the SMA Sunny Boy inverters http://www.solarwatts.co.uk/index.html?lang=en-uk&target=d9.html    has anyone experience or background info - recommendations etc  on them?

Regards  Mickey

We have used and sold the SMA SunnyBoy inverters. They are expensive but work well. There seems very little competition in the grid-tie inverter market, so I assume this is the reason for the high prices.
