Have a look at www.navitron.org.uk/solar_training.htm or http://www.epogee.co.uk/ for course info.

Most installers are self-employed, but if you would prefer to work for an installation company, please give the office a call with details of your location/intended area etc and they can talk to the installers, to see if there are any opennings. The office number is 0870 740 1330

national rate call 10p/minute.

It was the only mappable number we could find that did not require payment of an annual fee....

You mean you don't generate any income from the number ? Normal codes cost 2-3p min depending on telephone supplier.

Not sure what your issue is here.
Ivan runs a business not a charity. If offsetting his admin costs by the use of a 0870 number at 10p a minute means that we can purchase ecologically sound equipment at realistic prices then I feel that is OK.

No intention to "undermine" or "take a pop at Ivan" in any way. I wholely support Ivan , Navitron and all the guys either working with / for Navitron or just lurking around the Forum. I am a vocal supporter and purchaser of products from Navitron and will continue to do so.
However as I sure you are aware money is tight ! and not easily made . I consider that to pay a premium just to make contact with a supplier be it British Gas, Tesco or even Navitron is morally wrong and smacks slightly of the "load's a money" ethic I thought we'd left behind with Maggie.
If advice is being dispensed then  make it a premium number and make it clear it is.
Failing that do you have courage to publish the number this 0870 diverts to , so people as tight as me can call at normal rate ?
That's my rant over. Keep up the good work.
George.
