Hi, my name is Roger McMinn, Head of Science at Helston Community College, Cornwall. My students have set up an educational wind turbine system powering computers in the laboratory. We secured a grant of just under £3000 from The Royal Society to do this.
Please look at our website for all details including live updates of power output, wind speed and direction. There is also a competition to win a turbine and pc, be quick it ends on 30th march.
If we can help you in any way , or if you have any suggestions for our project then please make a post in this forum.
