Hello  all,

Glad to see this new forum board is open, as this is the heart of what we're all trying to do. Save energy.

I would like to know how strict, other installers have found Grant Inspectors, when they are checking to see if a property has all basic energy efficiency measures in place,ie Loft and Cavity wall insulation, heating room stat and energy efficiency lamps installed, prior to signing off for grants.

Although this months grants allocation was  gone  in  70 minutes! I have not had much dealings with them, but have only heard poor reports. Do they generally attend every application for on-site  assessment?

Regards,

I haven't met anyone who says it was worth the effort but that is a very small number of people comparison with those that apply.
