The title say's it all... Outside/ the panel,in the loft/ expansion tank, pump, and controller plugged into a 13amp twin socket linked to the heating,  in the hall/ the controller with one press to boost the water, 3 timed periods (I use 2 but IF the tank get to 48 degrees the house system gets overridden and does no come on). This was the budget kit from Navitron....1 self inflicted expense along the way in that I bought reflectors to exchange and polish and swap in as a service each year and broke a tube (bought 2 so that I have a spare) doing it last year...I have my main house system on retro type coil via the immersion port (it was always like that) and so use the main coil for the panel and there is no more that 8 metres of tube involved in the whole system as the roof/panel is directly above in the pictures and the tank is directly to the left. 1000UKP inc. total and although the next door house shadows the panel after 5 in the summer, the gap in the houses with the street across the road allows the same in the winter...I could not wish for better.
