Slightly off topic, as it's not a Savonius, but a very interesting alternative, this guy has been making multi rotor designs for years, he now seems to have a pile of funding from CEC in the states and his website has become a bit shouty and slick......I liked it better when it was just pics of him holding a 20foot prototype above his head... all this half mile high twaddle........
Anyway, food for thought
