John  i paid  1000 euro for my 1600 AH bank  excl.vat and delivery , but to be honest i sourced them in the end in Germany and brought them over to Ireland

The main reason why i did not get them in Cork/Ireland at the forklift supplier was , that i had not enough knowledge about testing batteries these days and  didnot trust the sales guy too much (all he said they are fine )

You can ask for new ones as well ...
