I'm with Scottish and Southern for my PV FiTs and I got my first meter read form mid June, returned it on 1st July and received payment by the end of July. Have heard nothing from them requesting the meter reading for the second quarter, July/August/September. Has anyone else??

Will contact them later today to find out what's happening.

Hi Iain,

I assume that's because you are transferring from the old ROCs system?
Mine was a new system installed in April, so was a "clean" application. However, Ofgem still haven't registered the Export Meter so I get the assumed 50% export - SSE have said it could take upto 9 months for Ofgem to register it.

Its a bit ridiculous - who regulates the regulators!!!!!!

Haven't had my first cheque yet. All I've had is notification that the info SWALEC gave me originally is incorrect and that as a result I've lost all the revenue between 1stApril and 22August.

Had my PV system installed 16/07/10 and rec'd first payment from British Gas (BG) 24/09/10 for £284.00  Cheesy approx 688 Kwh up until the end of Aug - BG requested by e-mail that I give them my next reading on the 1st Nov 2010 so I expect 2nd payment this side of the turkey! That said the way the weather has been of late I might now reduce my order with the local butcher to a couple of sausages!  facepalm

Ron

I'm going to answer my own question Smiley

I phoned SSE this morning - they are still taking calls to the microgeneration team (I think someone on another thread said they were not). Spoke to a very nice lady who said they had literally just finished emailing out reading requests for the 2nd quarter. Any email addresses which had been bounced would be sent a letter in the next two days. Whilst on the phone the email appeared!!!

So now to fill it in and await another cheque Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley
