Well, we have almost completed out first full month of generation with our 2.16Kw system and during september only generated 145Kwh of power (67.13Kwh per KW installed). I was expecting a generation in the 170 region - has everyone else got a lower then expected reading or is it just not as sunny in Essex ?

246.60 kwh from a 2.52kwp system i.e. 97.86kwh per kw installed.  This is in Dorset.

It's been a rainy and miserable last couple of weeks in Cambridge. Checking my output I find 228 kWh for 2.9kWp system = 78.6 Wh/W. That's almost exactly in line with our projected PVGIS output. For most of the summers it's been rather more. Ah yes I see you are on bdpv.fr. Your ouput seems within normal weather variation. See what happens over the next few months. It's always nice to get more than the PVGIS numbers, but of course that can't happen every month.

Your low readings for Sept will be due to missing the 30th of the month (today....) which is going to be bright, clear and sunny - and will likely bring our output to 100% of the PVGIS prediction.  whistlie

I'd echo Wookey's comments. Weather has been pretty miserable so as of this morning I am on 210kWh against a PVGIS forecast of 240kWh. Assuming today is good I should get an extra 7-8 kWh that would still leave me quite short of forecast and a yield of 60Wh/W.

I will be eagerly checking the meter at the hall tonight to get my final reading for the month. I hope the sun & blue sky holds as the other trustees took some convincing this was a good idea for the Scout Group and i would like a reasonable first month.

Fingers crossed

looking like we will be on 302Kwh for Sept -
3.76kw kwp
split se/sw facing
45degrees inclination
stoke on trent (not best for sun!)
80.3 Kwh / Kwp.

Beats PVGIS expectations

My 1.7kW was on target last time I looked and although this last week hasn't been brilliant, I think should exceed my target of 120kWh for the month.
For me August was not too good and I was 10% under target.  I find the following data set quite good and the Sept sunshine figures should be posted in the next week or so:

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/climate/uk/anomalygraphs/

August sunshine was down by over 20% in the South so perhaps my 10% under generation wasn't too bad.

I won't be clicking up another unit today, so here are my results:

Edit
I thought the spreadsheet would display instead of being a link.

Sept - 171kWh, 2.71kWh per kWp, 102% of PVGIS estimate.

The sunshine was slightly less than last year in SW France 339kWh with 368kWh last year for September.  We have however used no heating yet as the solar thermal has been good enough.

3.96 kW array - Sept equals 296kWh therefore an average of 9.9kWh per day & 2.49kWh/kWp or for the month 74.75 kWh/kWp - a bit disappointing really, however just about in line with the forecast for Sept.

(If they have the FiTs in France then I am off to the South of France with my panels! Grin)

**3.05kWp - Northern Scotland - SSE - 42deg pitch

Ahead of Predictions again -even after a shocking last part of September (57kWh in 12 days)

202.52   Sept Total         PVGIS Predicts (14% losses) 188   (10%) 201.2
6.75   Sept Ave (per day)          PVGIS Predicts  per day      6.27            6.61

= 2.76 kWh per day per Kwp installed

Well we finally got 151 Kwh in september so that is 70KWh per installed KW.
Just waiting to see other peoples results find their way onto bdpv.fr so i can compare generation.
