a young man called Patrick, 'Paddy' to his friends was killed today in his car, he was just seventeen.

This might not be the place to tell people because you did'nt know him, we did, and loved him and lost him.

I hope you dont mind my telling you.

Tony,

Thank you for sharing this with us, it helps to remind us of the fragility of life and how tenuously we hang onto it.

Everyone who reads your post will spend some time thinking about Patrick, that's a wonderful thing to do for the memory of somebody that you loved.

In these busy lives that we lead, it's all too easy to take our families and loved ones for granted.  We need the occasional reminder of how precious life is and you just gave all of us that reminder.

to lose a loved one is awful, loss of one so young makes it so much worse - our kindest regards to all those touched by this tragedy.

Today the sun shone, the birds were singing and the world just went on as it does.

In a quite part of Norfolk several hundred people came from as far as America to lay 'Paddy' to rest.

Remember to tell those that you love, you do.

Our children are our renewable energy, we should love and nurture them, and then let them go.

it was Paddy's 18th today, nine long weeks since we all lost a fine young man.
