Looks like the site's been down for around 3 hours, and I really have not an inkling why....... Doubtless we'll find out in due course, but in the meantime, we're back and boogying! extrahappy

Most odd - all the sites from the same server company were down at the same time, so I'm presuming it was probably a physical fault....... In the meantime I had been wondering if it had been too many mirrors causing an overheat, legionella of the servers, or possibly even a return visit from the inbred tossers from Albania........ whistlie

My error message said "too many connections" whatever that meant.

I noticed it too and duly reported it. Apparently it was some kind of security check - to see if the server could withstand an attack from 'too many connections (is that the same as a DOS attack?). Apparently it passed with flying colours  wackoold

Probably a good move to mention that there is a simple script available from SMF that will enable the new and old Ivans to be morphed into one (needs running on the server, hence a Porsche owner's job!), and for some reason the "preview" thingummy doesn't work since they moved the forum off the US servers to a UK one - oh, and the clock's wrong!
