On 26-8-10 we had our 3.6Kw Aurora Inverter and 2.16 Kw system installed but the Desktop Display was on back order. I fitted the radio card without problem on saturday morning and checked the system today and it seems to have stored more han the expected 2 days from the inverter's memory, to the display unit.

I connected the Display unit to my laptop and downloaded the data but i cant seem to load the data into the Aurora software.  banghead

Has anyone else who is using the PVI-Desktop having problems or have they solved it ?

Thanks

Richard

When you run Aurora communicator it defaults to the start up screen. With the words
Inverter list in the top left hand corner.

Underneath there should be a picture of an inverter and information detailing the inverter serial number and type.

Double click on the picture of the (  Inverter or any where on the line.  )

Graphics will open displaying (  Inverter control panel  )

Click on the bottom of that display. In the box marked (  Energy Harvesting  )

The historic data will automatically down load for the last seven days.

You can then click on any option.

Day
Last week
Last 7 days
Last month
Last 90 days
Last year
Last 366 days
Lifetime

Or

Selected period

To display historic information.

If it does not down load try switching the inverter A.C. And D.C. Supplies off until the inverter lights go off. Then power back up.

What version of Aurora communicator are you using.
