All
KenB will be here in Northumberland/Newcastle for a few days. If any of you are interested there will be the opportunity of attending a "Renewable Curry" at StBC on Friday night (29th Oct).

In normal circumstances this would be an invitation I could not turn down, however I am presently stuck in the Western General Hospital,Edinburgh.
It has been a classic example of 'Murphyl's Law' and what should have been in and out in 3 days has turned into an extended stay, hopefully a second op' on Monday next will see me home by the end of next week!

Lumme - a heartfelt "get well soon", I'm sure from everyone here - being stuck in hospital is utterly ghastly - keep your pecker up!

Is there anyway you get get a couple of one-w........    maybe not.

Good luck.
Recover soon, maybe you should get takeaway curry that evening, anything has to be better than hospital food.

Desp
definitely another good opportunity, but will have curry probably Friday if anyone is interested in Joining us.  Cow Pie on Wed?). Will try for a small wind turbine install also that weekend.(13th Nov) The Tank should be straightforward if we can manoeuvre it into position - will take 4 strong men to lift it. We need to discuss various bits and bobs - connectors commissioning valves etc. so I can get everything in place for the install. Stu is trying to get some spare 28mm coper pipe.

I have often thought that, I can plumb tidy, and hold pressure to 30 bar... that would be awful high blood pressure I reckon, and the body heals itself, so once you are 85-90% there just shut it up, and nature will take over,

so I looked into it, and you can do an access course to become a medic, and then a surgeon...does cross my mind from time to time, hearts I reckon would be my gig, although eyes would be pretty cool.

Hope you're offering proper renewable curry (although it's quite a challenge at this time of year) : - http://www.navitron.org.uk/newsdetail.php?id=21

Renewable in the sense that the topic of discussion was renewable energy and associated topics. The Curry was more standard and only notionally renewable in its cooking as GoodEnergy my supplier claims to be 100% renewable and cooked using off peak electricity. Ken seemed to enjoy it at any rate...
