Many of you may have seen our system from other posts on the forum but I thought I would post here just so everyone can see.

It is 10 x Phono Solar 240Wp modules, single string into a Fronius IG20 grid-tied inverter. Azimuth is 170 degs and slope is 30 - 40 degs. Shading on lower and upper sections morning and evening October to March.

There are a couple of pics of the install on my blog if you fancy a quick look http://blogs.thisissaltash.co.uk/snaxmuppet/

We are in Saltash.

At the moment the system is not yet commissioned. The installers ran out of time just before Christmas and it got dark before they could test it. They are due to return next week if the weather stays good.

They installed just from ladders... carrying each module up the ladder on a shoulder!

I know someone who's had a quote for a 2.4 kWp system of £10.8k - send me a PM if you want more info.

£10,200

Why not come over and see it sometime. Make it after 5th and it might even be working assuming they actually get it going! They could not finish the install and so it is not yet commissioned.

I'll pm you my email.
