However I think that any relay suitable for DS2406 direct drive would have to be a miniature PCB mount type so I'm afraid soldering will be needed
When I think about it soldering would be sensible in this application anyway - don't want any loose wires flying around! I did buy a new smaller tip for my iron but the grub-screw won't shift Angry (the "why's nothing ever simple?" job category!)

I used to only have a "household" soldering iron, and it did the job for a great many years. Last year I invested 30 quid into a soldering station, and haven't brought the old iron out again. Highly recommended.
