hi, were near aberystwyth wales.
I must stress this is an old unit circa 1950-1960 by the look of it, I have not put any power through it.
I found it at the tip and brought it home, it has GK stamped on it mounted on plate with big switch and meter.
I also have a tiny rotary inverter from an old airplane I once tried it and I could pick up the RF through my skull it was frightening, how they used that on an aircraft with avionics is beyond me.

Dave

What a bit of luck my parents live between Tregaron and Aberystwyth and I'm visiting next weekend (Friday/Sat) so I could pop round Sat midday on my way back home if thats okay, could you PM me your address if its okay?.
If you're interested I've got several 1KVA pure sinewave telecomms spec inverters (50/60/400Hz 110v/240v ouput) 48 volts DC input. tried to sell them but no one interested, so you can have one to play with! exchange is no robbery angel, let me know and I'll chuck one in the car!

Best regards

Fred
