Is it safe to use and expandable foam filler to surround an MDPE pipe that has been passed thru a core drilled hole in a wall.

I'm not too sure if there are some foams that are corrosive to the pipe material. And thus would like to make sure before the work starts.

cheers

I am fairly sure that it will be ok.

But you should line the hole with a bigger pipe any way.

We seal cables and pipes all the time,

We use foam, transits, and a great product which  is called  rise sealant, never had a problem going back 20 years

Where online could I get this 'Rise Sealant'? Is it a foam product?

What is your MDPE application.  Blue (water) or yellow (gas).  If the latter then it must have a sleeve to prevent damage from the wall
