My Efergy power consumption display device has developed a fault. A couple of days ago it started reading about 150% of its normal reading.

Have replace both transmitter and receiver batteries. Its communicating between the two OK. I haven't done anything with the house electrics and have checked for this error on both halves of the split consumer board. The device is 18 months old so out of warranty.

Anybody else experience problems of this nature with this device?

Mine has sat displaying 421 kWh for the last eight months.
( Yes I did change the batteries and re link it )

It's Not out of warranty!    police

european law makes that 2 years now plus our sale of goods act put no actual limit on the warranty just that it should last a reasonable amount of time.

18months is not reasonable!
