Hi everyone, newby here.
My name is Joe, from Southern California. I live in the high desert, about an hour north of Los Angeles. I have a small 5 acre ranch in Lancaster, CA. I found this website after searching for information on SWEA grid tie inverters.  I've purchased two 1000 watt "Hornet" wind turbines (seen on my profile picture, mounted to the roof of my steel building workshop) , and so far one SWEA 1000 watt grid tie kit. We have an average windspeed of 12 mph, it's very windy where I live. So far I've had good luck producing a small amount of power from the turbine/SWEA setup. I still want to play with adding solar panels, and a battery bank so I can power some of my workshop.  I'll post more in the turbine forum section about my tests and results for those interested in the SWEA product, or the Hornet turbines. Both were eBay purchases, and I have very little experience with wind and solar, but I'm learning. I'm now searching around to see what Navitron has to offer, as I had never heard of them prior to stumbling onto this site!

Thanks,
Joe
