Well we have had our latest water bill.
we have used 16m^3 of water in the last 6 months. compared to 21m^3 for the same period last year.

So i am now scratching my head as to why we have used less.
1 no inlaws over Christmas..
2 shower every other day but i think i started that before the period when we used 21 m^3.
3 Ah new washing machine in the Autumn cold feed only so only rain water used.

even so i am surprised at the reduction. so that is nearly £20 saved  Grin

problem now no rain i am having to top up the tank form the mains  Angry roll on April showers )

I'm guessing your washing machine uses between 45 and 50 litres per cycle, running it 3 times a week (?) is 150litres, by 26 weeks = 3900 litres saved.

My panasonic v-something uses 22l on it's most frugal setting, rainwater still in stock but dwindling rapidly. Drought seems a foregone conclusion now, although the spring sump is doing better than I would have anticipated given the dry winter...
