SSE has paid 41.3p for every unit generated, and because I provided a generation meter reading on the day the export meter was fitted, they have correctly paid 3p for each unit generated since 11 Mar and deemed the export between early Feb and 11 Mar as half of generation up to that point and paid 3p/deemed unit also.
I'm quite impressed that they got it right, and paid me (by BACS) in only just over a month from when I submitted the readings.
Similarly experience with a new export meter here...
An export meter was fitted here at the end of February (part way through our second FIT quarter). I didn't provide a generation meter reading on the date of fitting (I wasn't asked, and didn't think of it).
I'd not expected the export meter to be significant yet, but they asked for the 31st March reading along with the generation reading, so I provided one and, low and behold, on the latest statement there were two set of figures for export.
a) Up to the date of install of the export meter they paid "deemed 50% export" on a pro-rata proportion of the quarter's generation up to that date (the statement didn't say they'd done that, but I did the maths and it agreed exactly with the figure they came up with).
b) From the date of install of the export meter they paid for the units reported by the export meter from its install to 31st March.
I was most impressed!
Payment arrived in our account last week.
