I have seen some discussions on how to get into the Wind  settings of these units.
I wonder if any one can send me the info i need.
I am able to communicate and see
the power output
using Mastervolt's PC link software but I cannot alter the power curve.
I have a self built wind turbine using Futurenergys 48 volt PMG
Any help or advice would be great !

create a shortcut in windows to run the mastervolt software (soladin.exe).

Next edit the properties of the shortcut by "right" clicking it.

In the "target" window add /Wind   to the end of the command line ->     .........soladin.exe" /Wind     NOT: THIS IS CASE SENSITIVE SO CAPITAL "W"

Then run it.

You now have the option of changing the power curve under the "view" menu

For the FE048  48v PMG the recommended settings from Future energy are:

28V    0A
35V    4.5A
50V    6.5A
60V    7.5A
70V    7.8A

Remember the inverter must have a DC power source in order to be programmed - I think you need to apply at least 24V -you could use a couple of car batteries in series - or wait until it is windy!

Looks like I've been beaten to it, pm me again if you get stuck.
Remember to "send" the settings once you've changed them.
Settings cannot be changed unless turbine is generating.
Don't be too greedy trying to pull too many watts at a low voltage -you'll just stall it.
What wind turbine have you connected to it?
Will try and see my settings tomorrow (if windy) and post.
