As another section is havign a pressurised v vented topic I thought we might have a radial v ring one.
I currently have radial circuits but almost took it for granted that a rewire would go ring. However I think France is mostly radial. What about other EU countries?
Radial does seem to have some advantages for renewables as a central switching sysem could cut over specific loads to PV/wind when available.

Ideas?

ring was brought in in the war to reduce copper use - its just stuck ever since. afaik most EU countries use star/radial systems
