I saw this last night outside our HQ (which has our main system on).

Do you think the lamp post gives a shaddow all day as the picture is taken looking due north !

Perhaps they should have mounted the panel on the other pole...

When I was working in Croydon they installed a traffic flow sensor loop right across the tram tracks Smiley

Quick E-mail to the local paper with a link to the shadowing graphs on this site should produce the desired effect. They generally enjoy a good go at the council and it should get the shadowing idea out to a few members of the public.

Looks as though the sign on the lamp post is obscured by the display/sign under the solar Pv.

Theres on of these on the A11 pointing at a bridge hysteria I've seen another one dwarfed by some trees. Guess the men that install them just put them where told and haven't a clue as long as they point south. facepalm

speed limit signs here in Ireland  gone up  a few years back (about 3-4 years ) are erected similar brainless  hysteria
