My install completed 4th June. No pics from attic yet, can't get access as on crutches!
3.29 kWp, WSW facing. 14 Sanyo HIT-N235SE10 with SB 4000TL & Sunny Beam.

A big thank you to everyone who posts on forum for all the information that helped me along the way (directly or indirectly). genuflect

- 14 x 235 = 3290 which does not seem very much for a 4000TL inverter.  Why not use a 3000TL, or did you want the dual mppt?

- perhaps related - if the array was further over to the right then the top left panel would not be in shadow.  Is there a reason it is where it is?

What time was the photo taken?  that little shadow on the upper left is going to cut your output especially as the sun sinks lower.

Hi Bruce/Rogeriko,

The modules were pushed to the left due to major shading coming from the right chimney when the sun is lower.


 I would have liked the array to be lower down but this was prevented by a difference in the pitch on the main roof & above the windows.

The slight shade from the right chimney is the better option as it is later in the evening (19:30)

The SB4000TL was to give 2 MPPT to minimise shade issues.
