They look very low on the mounts, especially the bottom two rows.  In a storm there could be a lot of flexing, especially being near the coast.

Is it possible to shift them up the roof an inch or two while the scaffolding is still up?

John S is right.  If you look at the installation instructions for the panels I am sure you will find that the bottom support is too far away from the bottom edge.  Typically the maximum distance is a quarter of the panel length.  What sort of panels are they?

As JohnS said, the bottom row especially look too low. The mounts should be within a prescribed area on the frame of the panels, if they're not your guarantee may be invalid (not sure who made the panels but this is definitely the case with the likes of Sanyo etc...)

Well spotted.
Installation manual here.

Clamps need to go opposite the mounting holes which are about a quarter of the way in

Thanks for your comments, will check this out, they have been up since Oct 10

I have sent an e-mail to both Yingli and my installer and will let you know the outcome. On a separate note I would like to collect the data to my computer, can anyone give any advice on the best way? I do have some spare plug in boards on the inverter.

The panels are Romag panels from Powerglaz and having checked the bottom row are a bit low, so am having the frame lowered.

Many thanks to those in the know!!!
