I have a solar thermal water heating system for sale. Work on or offgrid. Needs no power apart from water flow (temp display not included but cheap off eBay). Simple to install by just one cold & one hot water pipe.

20 x 58mm tube solar hot water system full details HERE inc the optional header tank. Self collection only on this one due to the glass tubes. I do have the polystyrene protectors for the tubes. £350 ovno

These pics are from when it was new. The reflectors that are on it have seen better days but I have a new set of 30 that can go with it so you will have some spares.

Hi Justme,
Interested, but up in the Highlands, have to see if anybody is passing, have a friend going south in next week or two and will see if he can help. What sort of size does it take up, length etc,

Longest part is less than 2m.

Tank is about 40cm wide.

Tubes are 1.8m long.

You could just remove the tubes & move it in one bit if you had a transit sized van or an open topped trailer. Would not recommend the tubes went in a trailer unless you could put more packing on the bottom like a mattress or a layer of car tyres. That said I have moved tubes & pv modules in a trailer for long distances but was extra careful about the packing.

They are good arn't they Martin. Only reason its going is we are changing to a TS system with Rayburn for winter use. We have had 4 good showers one after the other & still had hot water left for the next day. OH tends to do the washing every two weeks using a twin tub filled from this with hot water. Even that still leaves hot water for standard use in summer. We dint use any antifreeze even when it was -18c & it was under a good bit of snow. Displayed temp never went below 3c. Yet all our water pipes were frozen solid even inside the caravan.
