Has anybody used an installer called -potential spam link removed -?

I'm thinking of placing an order with them and some independent feedback would be helpful.

Thanks
Tricky

I suspect that another moderator applied the "duck test" - "If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands"

TWO "first-posters" both "innocently" enquiring about the same company quacks pretty loudly of potential spam, as such, she (quite reasonably) removed the company name - we are being inundated with all sorts of spam, so anything that looks remotely like it gets short shrift....

No probs, just detail what they're offering, and for how much without mentioning company names, and I'm sure you'll be inundated with advice

That's not even a particularly good price IMHO - good job the company involved remains nameless  whistlie

Aim for summat nearer to £10K all in, particularly now the weather's getting colder. Less sunshine, fewer people thinking about solar energy, presumably the customer waiting list is getting shorter and the providers will be tempted to cut prices to compensate.

Maybe.

agreed it's not a good price but an average price for Sanyo panels, I have seen others post quotes as low as £10,000 but not with Sanyo Panels.

True - you wouldn't get Sanyo panels for £10K, at least not that I've seen. Although personally I remain unconvinced that the supposed extra goodness in the Sanyo panels will ever repay that £2-3K premium. I was on a budget which precluded them, so it was a no-brainer in my case  Grin

-potential spam link removed-
Happy with the installation it is generating well and the installation was quick, clean and efficient..........BUT.

They had told me they would send the completed FIT application off by recorded delivery to make sure it arrived as they had experience of E.on losing some.

They didn't either send it or use recorded delivery and guess what.............Eon denied receiving it.

Upshot is that I lost the first 6 weeks of generation as far as FIT was concerned, costing me £200.
-potential spam link removed-refuse to answer my e-mails complaining about their lack of care with my application.

So my personal advice is, by all means use them to install, but only trust yourself with the FIT application.........it is your money !!

Things must have changed - when I registered in July 2010 my meter reading was of course zero - when I gave my first reading after the first qtr. it was x and that is what I got paid against - I do not recall them asking for any other details.
