Solar ready houses in Canada

British Columbia has a scheme whereby new houses have to be built 'ready' for solar thermal to be fitted. Each town has to sign up for the legislation individually.

Our local council (Kingston upon Thames)requires new builds to have solar water heating installed if you are to get planning permission if they have a suitable roof. A bit ahead of our Canadian friends!
