Wasn't thermaskirt on Dragons Den a couple of years ago?
Presumably so. I've not followed it, but I noticed a "Dragons Den" link on the "ThermaSkirt Reviews" menu on the website.

I must say I'm a copper pipe and solder supporter myself ! I guess as time goes on plastic 'push' fit joints will mature as does most technology.  I have thought about a copper pipe around the bottom but not keen on the 'look' of it, I could box it in, but that defeats the point of it.

clivejo, I believe that these guys are the NI distributors.  I have worked with them on other projects, and they seem to be a good company to deal with. I was very impressed with the thermaskirt in their premises.

Yes, I gave them a call after being told that they are the NI distributors.  The guy I spoke to Wayne was very helpful and pleasant, not your normal ram it down your throat until you agree to buy something! He spent over an hour listening to me rave on about stuff, so I'm very impressed!!  I think I might try one room with this and see how it goes.

Hello Clivejo,
Glad you spoke to Wayne at TriPower. He is very laid back, as he has about 25 years experience with all forms of heating technology.
He wont try to sell you something you dont need, or isnt right for you, and as he has underflooor, boilers, heat pumps, solar, the lot, so it isnt just our product he has to sell.
We ship 6m lengths all over the world - some went out today to Hungary. We use a transport company that uses 6m waggons. Of course we also do shorter lengths (1, 2, 3 etc) and also made-to-measure as we try to have as few joints as possible for aesthetic reasons.
As you are in the UK, if you use our basket system, this will give you a price for shipping direct to NI, assuming that Wayne doesnt have it in stock (we supply our distributors with 6m only). Allow about 8% for shipping to your door, less if Wayne has it in store.
Hope that helps.
Thanks
Martin
PS If you give me your customer number, I can have a look at your quote online
