If they have to Kil;l the power in the street it shoulf be interesting as we have a Gas Pumping station one side, and a Doctors surgery then a Pub the other. i assume as we are all so close and all non-domestic we would be on the same line !!!

Hi
When they replaced my incoming cable they just did it live. They chopped off the old cable from the overheads and then they crimped on the new cable to the live tails left, once they had replaced the meter inlet. Insulated high lift and insulated crimping tool.
