Looks like the government have got off to a great start with the RHI. I know of two applications which were made a few days ago. Both were 'accepted' and concluded with messages that further info would be sent by email....but no email was received. Maybe it's a ploy by the government to avoid actually paying anything out. The EST were phoned, but despite the RHI application being run on their webservers, they didn't have access to any information and didn't know why it wasn't working.

Not a good start!

I had the same experiences last week, no email but I rang their main switchboard yesterday ( not the helpline number) and got to speak with a very helpful lady who said my application had been approved a voucher allocated and an email sent. She said she would send another email we checked the email address she said allow a couple of hours but nothing  arrived. My email is working fine, I wonder if they have an email problem the rest of the system seems to be working OK.

Having just spoken with EST, they do seem to be having a problem with certain email, ironically not gmail, hotmail etc but  isp and company addresses, I gave them my gmail address and I got the voucher email though in minutes.
