Tibster's genny arrived safe and sound yesterday http://www.navitron.org.uk/forum/index.php/topic,14524.0.html and I just can't believe how good it is. He said 50 hours only but I doubt that it's even done that.

not even any carbon in  the exhaust and look at that valve gear  Cool

Changed the fuel filter, connected everything up, turned the handle and it fire up as soon as it came on TDC  Shocked not even one full turn of the engine  extrahappy  extrahappy

I've got to sell 'Twinny' to make room for 'Cyril' Justme  Grin

There's nowt wrong with the ST2 but he has done at the very least 80,000 hours and he's still not had the heads off. Still uses hardly any oil, and what he does use leaks out of him  Smiley Starts first time whatever the weather, but when the SR2 came up I just couldn't resist  Grin

At some point we're going to have to sell the old home to finance the new one so I thought it would be good to leave a 'new' genny there as I'll be taking Harry the HR2 with me, and judging by current eBay prices I'd get as much for Twinny as I paid for Cyril  Cool

Though I'd let him go for £400 to a forum member.

Cheers, Paul
