Phase 6 - skimmed - done. Jumped phase 5 - doing that when it stops raining (so maybe this week if the forecast is to be trusted!)

your skimming is pretty good stoozy,
                    just fire on a few coats of ordinary  emulsion,not the vynl stiff. you dont need to wait untill its dry. just sling it on,white brilliant white,everywhere.leave a door and window open to ventilate. the white emulsion will act as a sealer for the final coat of paint.

hi biff - didn't do the skimming. Tried it in the past and did more sanding afterwards than it was worth. One job I defineately leave to someone who knows what their doing.  Nice tip about hte emulsion was going to use runny pva.
