Hi everybody

Quick question for you all, just finishing of my install and was wondering which end does the collector temperature sensor go in please for an evacuated tube mainfold. Is it the cold water "in" end or the hot water out, or does it not matter ( my first thought is it should be the hot out end ) as my manifold has only one pocket and I just want to make sure my water flow is connect up correctly in relationshio to the sensor position  Huh

Many thanks and kindest regards Al.

Alan,

It's the hot end. While the pump is off, it doesn't really matter, but while there is a flow through the panel, you ideally want to measure whether there is still sufficient heat added by the panel.
