i'm quite taken by this Silvapor option - one thought though is that our house is a 1920's semi. Just wondering if the cavity will be joined with the neighbours. There is no obvious break in the brickwork between the houses so i am guessing it is all one big cavity ? Could do without the expense of filling the neighbours cavity as well !

I have been looking around the william sinclair website.

It seems that it is only perlite that is suitable for cavity fill.  Vermiculite is not.

I ended up buying a load of silvapor - time will tell whether it improves the house but it went in OK - i've got about 12 twelve bags left over so if anyone in north west wants to buy a few bags feel free to PM me

It's a bit late now and you may have read it already but we went through Silvapor a year ago under the thread 'polystyrene beads'.
