Hi all

Anyone got any experience or opinion on the difference between the Suntech STP250S-20/Wd and the STP250S-20/Wd+.

I know the Wd is mono and the WD+ is poly with extra goodness, (same specs, nearly identical datasheets).

Thanks

Hic!

If you must go for Suntech I would be inclined to go for the polycrystaline  wd+ panels, you gain a whole extra 1 watt at NOCT extrahappy.  I have just had the 245WD fitted and am not impressed by their performance compared with my older system consisting of Sharp ND210 E1F panels - and that is in hot, cold, & low light conditions.  My Suntechs are the monocrystalline ones whilst the Sharp are polycrystalline.

See this thread:

As always this is just my opinion based on my experience, as always DYOR Smiley
