Hello,

What software do installers use to create the wiring diagram / schematic that is placed in the handover pack, and next to the equipment.

Does anyone recommend any? or will creating it in photoshop suffice?

Many Thanks,

I find InkScape (http://inkscape.org/) to be very good for this kind of work. It's not a real schematic editor, but is a vector drawing package making it easier to edit than Photoshop. I also think it's better than using PowerPoint.

I use this, have done for over 15 years, once you have created a template its easy to edit for future jobs, not colour but its free and has no bugs.   www.cadstd.com
