While searching ebay for some electrical components for my VPhase install I noted one of my saved electrical sellers now sells PV panels and Inverters made by Chint.

http://www.chint.co.uk/solar.html

Their inverters seem well priced and are fanless & transformerless (1.5 - 4Kw models).

Sizes up to 500Kw on offer Smiley

I have seen these at an exhibition this week, chint are best known for their low cost consumer units, its actually a uk company branding chineese sourced product, this was the case with their consumer units, CGD and several others sell the same products under different names or colours.

I bet if you google web enough you will be able to find the same inverter under other names, just a hunch.

The brochure for the inverter has no mention of G83 or G59 approval.

The panels are on the MCS approved.

The 'parent' company is Shanghai Chint Power Sytems Co.
